Wiper and True Presents: Stone Cold Hustle

Kicking off our run of live shows in 2026, Stone Cold Hustle return to the Taproom for a night of high-octane, face-melting instrumental grooves.

Stone Cold Hustle have been knocking audiences backwards with their captivating instrumental set, since 2021. Their set is designed for two things only, Dancing and skank faces. They’ve proven consistently to always be on form, whether its Glastonbury Festival or a tightly packed bar in the middle of town, they perform every gig like it’s their last. Close your eyes and you’d think you were listening to James Browns backing band. With members well seasoned from Bristol demanding Funk, Soul and Jazz scene these, lads are the Creme de la Creme of he UK's offering of funk and soul.

Every gig is an occasional where they leave nothing at home except he dirty washing and bring everything, including the kitchen sink to cook up some infectious funk grooves. The solos will melt your face and the rhythm section will have you skanking so hard that everyone will think you’re smelling something bad for he rest of the month, when no doubt they’ll be in town again, as these guys are some of the hardest working grass roots musicians in the country.
