The Annual NYE House Party

You're invited to our annual NYE House Party. Make yourself comfortable, as we transform the Taproom into a cosy house-party. Get stuck into some pumping disco in the 'living room', with some of the genres most respected DJs, or grab a cocktail and a chinwag in the 'kitchen'. Slippers and dressing gowns encouraged.

Curated by Nathan Worm of Worm Disco Club and Hot Wax Records, we've brought together a top quality lineup to see in the New Year with us.

- Admin -

A key figure in Brisol and internationally, Admin is know for his meticulous curation of musical grooves thorugh projects lke the 'Community Disc-O's' club night and edits series. His commitment to authentic underground Disco is apparent in his all vinyl DJ sets, which pay homage to influences from Chicago, Montreal, and Paris while also respecting Bristol's local history.

- Oscar Kingsley -

With over 20 years of experience, Oscar Kingsley possesses deep musical knowledge and is committed to fostering community through dance. Founding the 'London Disco Society' (LDS) parties, resulted in over a decade of successful touring across the UK and Europe and saw him support many legendary DJs. His passion for vinyl was compounded in his 2018 project documenting nearly 100 independent UK record shops, and he now actively contributes to the London Loft family helping to preserve the legacy of David Mancuso's infamous party.

- Nathan Worm -

Founder of Worm Disco Club and owner of Hot Wax Records, Nathan's passion for collecting and playing music runs deep. Playing his hand in putting on some of the cities best nights out, he's now putting vinyl in the hands of the consumer from his record shop in Bishopston. Nathan's evergrowing collection of records touches all corners of the globe, resulting in expertly crafted sets with something for everyone.

- Sarah Sweeney -

Bringing 25 years of experience, tracking back to the vibrant scenes of Liverpool and London during the late nineties and early noughties, Sarah brings a fusion of generations and genres, seamlessly intertwining house, disco, acid, afro, and carnival beats into a sweaty joyous dancefloor journey from beginning to end.

- Whitts -

A Northerner based in Bristol, Whitts is a vinyl digger and lover of funk, soul, disco and groove. Having played all over Bristol supporting the likes of Nightmares on Wax, Stanton Warriors, John Stapleton, Mr Thing and more, and playing at festivals like Glastonbury and Beatherder, you can expect to have a proper good dance.

Event address: The Taproom, Unit 11, City Business Park, Easton Road, Bristol, BS5 0SP.

Finding the Taproom: Enter the industrial estate via the Easton Road entrance opposite LA Gym. Ignore the first left-hand turn, and keep walking down the straight main road. Take the next left-hand turn; the taproom will be on your left.
