Live Music: Dreamwave + Support

Bristol’s neo-psych heavyweights Dreamwave headline a massive night at Wiper and True. Fresh from Glastonbury and a sold-out UK/EU tour, they bring their signature blend of garage-rock and dream-pop to the taproom. Joined by the raw, riff-heavy duo Bite The Buffalo and Bristol’s newest alt-rock energy, Dead Royals.

FFO: Tame Impala, Thee Oh Sees, and fuzzed-out garage-rock.

- Dreamwave -

Fresh from supporting Frankie & The Witch Fingers and selling out London’s The Garage, Bristol’s own Dreamwave are hitting their stride. With their latest EP ‘Drifter’ receiving heavy rotation on BBC 6 Music and a spot on Danger Mouse’s personal jukebox, the band has become a cornerstone of the UK’s Neo-Psych scene. Expect a hypnotic tug-of-war between high-octane Garage-Rock and lush Dream-Pop.

- Bite The Buffalo -

This UK garage-rock duo is built on monstrous riffs and stomping drums. Renowned for their "raw and uncompromising" live sets, they bring a macabre melodic edge that has earned them a reputation as one of the most dynamic live acts on the circuit.

- Dead Royals -

Opening the night are emerging Bristol trio Dead Royals. Combining grunge-inspired drops with infectious pop-style vocals, this is high-energy alternative rock at its finest. Featuring members of The Hangover Club and Black Wendy, they are the city’s newest "must-watch" act.
