Wiper and True Presents: Wolfgang Valbrun

We’re thrilled to welcome the remarkable Wolfgang Valbrun and his powerhouse Bristol-based band to Old Market for an intimate night of world-class soul.

From fronting avant-garde UK soul legends Ephemerals to collaborating with French hip-hop icon GUTS, Wolfgang has toured the world’s biggest stages—including Glastonbury. Now performing under his own name, he brings us the sound of his debut LP, Flawed By Design.

Expect an incredible live performance spanning raw, socially conscious anthems like Where is the Peace, heavy horn-fueled grooves, and the soaring, dramatic magic of tracks like Baptist. Following in the footsteps of soul royalty while bringing a fresh modern edge, Wolfgang’s unmistakable voice is something you need to hear live in the room.

Finding the Taproom: Enter the industrial estate via the Easton Road entrance opposite LA Gym. Ignore the first left-hand turn, and keep walking down the straight main road. Take the next left-hand turn; the taproom will be on your left.
