Summer Sessions with John Stapleton, Whitts, Jackson Worm (Wanted Records Takeover)

We’ve teamed up with Bristol legends Worm Disco Club to bring you Summer Sessions—a three-month run of free Friday parties in our sunny Old Market beer garden, powered by the Minirig Doppler Soundsystem.

- John Stapleton -

Bristol-based record collector, DJ and record-shop owner, John Stapleton joins us in the taproom showcasing his extensive collection of afrobeat, funk, world music and more.

Owner of Wanted Records in the centre of Bristol, selling all kinds of quality second-hand records, John has played a huge array of events and festivals in Bristol and beyond, and we're incredibly excited to have him spin some records in the brewery as part of our Summer Sessions series. .

- Whitts -

A Northerner based in Bristol, Whitts is a vinyl digger and lover of funk, soul, disco and groove. Having played all over Bristol supporting the likes of Nightmares on Wax, Stanton Warriors, John Stapleton, Mr Thing and more, and playing at festivals like Glastonbury and Beatherder, you can expect to have a proper good dance.

- Jackson Worm -

One third of the brains behind Worm Disco Club, Jackson Worm's extensive record collection spans countless genres, continents and decades. Expect high-energy grooves as he digs deep into his eclectic mix of records.

Free entry, fundraising tickets available thorugh Headfirst, raising money for Caring in Bristol.

Finding the Taproom: Enter the industrial estate via the Easton Road entrance opposite LA Gym. Ignore the first left-hand turn, and keep walking down the straight main road. Take the next left-hand turn; the taproom will be on your left.
