International Women's Day: Brew Day Experience

To mark International Women's Day this year, we are opening up applications from anyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary person, for a work experience brew day at Wiper and True. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is keen to explore a career in brewing.

It’s no secret that craft beer remains a heavily male-dominated world, and for many people this makes gaining industry experience and access a challenge. We want to take small, practical steps towards improving this imbalance.

We'll be choosing four people to spend a day working with our highly skilled brew team, creating one of the our most popular Beautiful Beers, and experiencing daily life in a fast-paced brewery.

The brew days will take place on Thursday 15th and Thursday 22nd May, starting at 8am until 4pm (although timings can be adjusted to accommodate for parent/carer schedules if required).

Your time will be paid for, plus we'll cover a delicious lunch for you, which will also be an opportunity to catch up with some of the women who work at Wiper and True during an informal Q&A session. In addition, we'll contribute to travel costs if required, and you'll receive a case of Beautiful Beer to take home with you.

If this sounds like something you'd like to apply for, click here to fill out the application form. Applications close at 9am on Sunday 23rd March, and we will contact the successful four applicants on or before Monday 31st March.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers, and here's to Beautiful Beer.
