A limited edition linocut of everyone's favourite beer, Kaleidoscope. Produced by Luke, an artist-printmaker working in Bristol. He is a member of the Bristol Print Collective and one half of Blue Roll Press; a travelling printmaking workshop based in Barton Hill.
Reduction linocut is a form of relief printing where the image is hand-printed from a single block. Starting with the lightest colour, the first layer is printed, then the block is meticulously carved away and reprinted for each successively darker layer. By the end there is almost nothing left of the block apart from the darkest 'key' information.
