We couldn't think of a more perfect venue than our St Werburgh's Barrel store to sample some exceptional Vintage Ales from Fuller's. Enjoy an evening with industry legend John Keeling, who'll be hosting a guided tasting of 6 of these fantastic vintages. This will be accompanied by a selection of award winning Artisan and Farmhouse cheeses, bread and chutney; lovingly selected by The Cheese Connection.
- Ticket includes 250ml samples of 6 Vintage Ales (some priced at £300 per bottle)
- Guided beer tasting with president of the London Brewing Alliance, John Keeling
- Individual three-cheese board with bread and chutney by The Cheese Connection, served at half time

John Keeling joined Fullers in 1981 as a junior brewer, before rising through the ranks and becoming Brewing Director in 1999. He brewed ESB and London Pride for 38 years, winning gold medals for ESB and Vintage at the Beer World Cup in the USA. Join us for an evening with John, enjoy some truly exceptional limited release Vintages and the story behind them. After the tasting, you'll be able to enjoy a few Wiper and True beers in the Taproom that will be open exclusively for ticket holders. You'll also be served up a platter of amazing cheeses by The Cheese Connection, with the opportunity to purchase some to take home from their pop-up shop.
Ticket pricing
We have worked hard to make this event as inclusive as possible, therefore several different ticket prices are available. The standard recommended ticket price for the evening is £20, however, if this feels inaccessible to you financially (no questions asked), please choose one of the lower priced ticket options. There is also an option for a £22 or £25 ticket if you'd like to spend a little more and further support an independent Bristol businesses.
Refunds
Refunds can only be given 7 days or more ahead of the event. You won't receive a physical or digital ticket for this event; just an email confirmation of your booking. You don't need to print or bring anything; on the night we will print a guest list and sign you in, stamping your hand to give you your 15% discount on the bar.

Dogs are very welcome inside our Taproom and beer garden.
